Meet the Team

  • Stephanie Calero Bartage (Founder, Artistic Director)

    Stephanie is a proud Latina & New Orleans native who studied theatre at Delgado Community College. She has worked onstage and backstage for various productions throughout her college years. Onstage credits include, Leveling Up (Jeannie) Moliere (Elmire) *Big Easy Nominee, The Laramie Project (Various roles). Stephanie was named a Irene Ryan of KCACTF 2019, awarded the Timothy K. Baker Scholarship and was established a member of Delta Psi Omega. She now resides in Baton Rouge with her husband Ben Bartage and their son Stephen. She made her directorial debut in 225 Theatre Collective’s Staged Reading of The Great Gatsby, a sold out show hosted at The Guru. She has then went on to direct Student Body and a sold out run of The Shawshank Redemption stage adaptation at LSU. Stephanie has taught multiple acting classes and produced numerous theatrical events throughout the city of Baton Rouge. She is a passionate artist ready to bring more theatre into the city she now calls home.

  • Victoria Brown (Co-founder, Head of Costume Department)

    Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Victoria always had a passion for creativity. Drawing and painting since she was a little girl, it was clear her life needed to be dedicated to the arts. Victoria has been experimenting in different mediums such as paint, clay, makeup, fabric, and more since high school. While in Buffalo, she worked for local haunted houses, theaters, and freelanced her artistic skills. Victoria chose to study Production Design with a Costume Concentration at Savannah College of Art and Design. After strengthening her design and construction skills, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2019. For four years she dedicated her time to working on student films and live productions. She now lives in Denham Spring, Louisiana where she plans to bring creativity, entertainment, and inspiration to the community with 225 Theatre Collective.

  • Simone Jackson (Co-Director of Diversity and Inclusion)

    Simone is a Virginia native who graduated from Brooke Point HS in the honors program. She is currently a LSU student pursing a degree in film and television. Simone has 7 years of acting experience in theatre and is involved with the theatre department at LSU. Simone is excited to bring more diversity to the Baton Rouge stage.

  • Taylor Meng (Education Coordinator/Director)

    Taylor is a Gonzales native who now resides in Hammond, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where she studied English Education with a minor in theatre. She has worked with Southeastern Theatre on many different productions either on stage or off including productions like Much Ado About Nothing (Verges/Messenger), She Kills Monsters (monster/puppeteer/understudy), The Crucible (Betty Parris), and Everyman (Discretion). She has also held various officer positions in Southeastern’s chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honor society, including Treasurer, Vice President, and President throughout her undergraduate career. At present, Taylor is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Education through the Mississippi University for Women and works as the Columbia Theatre’s House Manager and Education Coordinator. She is thrilled to be working with 225 Theatre Collective to bring more inclusive theatre and theatre education opportunities to the capital city.

  • Gabby Montagnino (Choreographer/Lighting Designer)

    Gabby Montagnino is a Baton Rouge native who is currently studying Theatre and Dance at Louisiana State University. Her love for theatre and dance started at a very young age. Stage credits include Romeo and Juliet (Peter) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ensemble), Metamorphoses (Orpheus/Apollo) and She Kills Monsters (Evil Gabbi). Gabby has also found a passion for lighting design at Baton Rouge Magnet High School where she worked on Metamorphoses (Lighting Designer) and She Kills Monsters (Lighting Designer). Excited to be a part of 225 Theatre Collective team Gabby plans to welcome a fun, hardworking, and motivating environment.

  • Hunter Sparacino (Member-at-Large)

    Hunter is from Baton Rouge and currently an LSU undergraduate student studying Theatre Performance. He found a love for theatre in High School where he served at president of the DTHS Thespian Society 2022-2023. Some of the most notable credits include The Shawshank Redemption stage adaptation (Andy Dufresne), Chicago (Billy Flynn), and Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik). Hunter has a passion for acting, but has thoroughly enjoyed other aspects of live theatre such as directing, designing lights, and creating props. He has been involved with 225 Theatre Collective since the beginning and is very excited to be a part of the team.
